Dude has had the car for a few years now. He originally lived off of Madison by the hospital and recently moved elsewhere in Waukesha. Pretty much a bagged Merc.

That is a cool ass car. Its good to see an odd model and a four door car being used and not getting thrown away.
If I recall, it is a 1961 meteor 600 with the small v8 in it.
They are indeed quite rare but are definitely budget obtainable.

Looks killer! Love seeing more and more people doing cool things with four doors. Like Tim mentioned, still affordable. A lot of "cool" old cars are just getting too expensive to play around with. Is love to have a bagged, beat up old impala 4 door as a daily driver from march through October. Small blocks are great on gas, hydraulic cam engines need very little maintenance and they get pretty decent mileage too. And don't forget the small block Chevy is one of the most reliable engines of all time

Not a fan of classic cars with four doors but I'd drive it. The front end looks killer.
Best looking year of the Meteors, good luck finding one for sale though. Even then, these can be had for like $4k-$15k. Very budget friendly. The earlier Mercs drive the prices up.
