I'm thinking about having my turbo piping welded up to eliminate couplers. I want to eliminate the chances of blowing pipes off.
Does anybody have any reccomendations on where to go? And maybe the average cost i'm going to be looking at?

You want to weld up all the tubing? Turbo, intercooler, all the way up to the throttle body? This doesnt sound like to good of an idea for a street car that may need to be serviced, hard piping doesnt exactly move very easily. Id look into some better clamps.
just get some of them welded up, take them to OTE or to Clocks off or something like that.
shouldn't be too much if you have it marked where they needed to be welded up. or just get some rolled edges and GOOD 4-5ply couplers and t-bolt clamps and you'll be good.
I have a turbonetics piping kit right now. All t clamps and good couplers, it's just that there are alot of them. I'm not looking to eliminate all of them just some. I don't want to weld on to the intercooler or anything, just want to get rid of some couplers.
I had my piping on my Cavalier down to 5 couplers.... one on the t/b, one on either end of the intercooler, one on the 2 part hot pipe, one on the turbo.
I had a guy at my dad's work do the welding.... just had to buy him lunch.

my srt4 is 4 couplers....definately worth getting a couple welded together to avoid too many couplers. I'm going to need some welding done on my R/T when I get my piping run
Welded flanges to the pipes. v bands are anout 35-50 a pop. You will need someone that can weld aluminum if your pipes are made of that
+1 for the V band. Or if you have deep pockets and want the best. Wiggings clamps.

Just remember u want to have a flex section somewhere. Unless you have solid engine /trans mounts. GL
My pockets def. aren't that deep lol.^^ I've never heard of those, but they look like the real deal.
I have solid rotated trans mounts, but even then, I don't plan on replacing all of the silicone clamps, just the places that are hard to get to, so that way if I do blow a coupler, its an easy fix.
I'm going to OTE this friday to get some quotes on things that I'm thinking of doing.
And thank you for the link Dr. Buick!
