Why cant I run a quad a full 1/4 mile when the NHRA rulebook has nothing that prohibits that?

70 cutlass 442- dads car
95 stang- Stock long block 195,XXX miles
03 XC600 - bone stock (still faster then smokin ram)
03 Polaris predator- 4.250 bore (assembly required)
84- 4 eyed
But we do.
I hope to god that's just a 600cc if you have a motor from a GSX-R in there...otherwise that's pretty weaksauce

Last year we ran 1/8th mile times until GLD was comfortable with running the 1/4 mile, this year they are comfortable with a few of us. It's a GSXR 750 motor "at the moment" bone stock, still has the emission controls on it. Last year I ran the quad at GLD for the 1st time and lost the motor to a little too much juice, so I'm taking a new approach at it, starting over again with just motor. This picture was from last year.
sick.... plus its on spray

Well then here it goes!
As far as I know the only event an atv could race a car is at RSD, if thats not true whoops delete this sentence. I believe any other day bikes/whatevers don't race cars. 2 questions, for bracket racing would I be able to compete with the bike/sled class? From conversations with a few at last Thursday's RSD, it's worth asking and would look forward to it. Now for the question you ARE going to say is STUPID but I'm asking anyway. Are bikes able to compete in the IMSM, maybe the Pro Avenger Series? I ask because it says "Run what you Brung" Anything-Goes class sounds like it's possible but it also says "door cars only" and you know where I would go with this
I figured I would ask since I'm at least on 4 wheels.
