speed holes are like dimples in a golf ball...the holes help break air's natural surface tension allowing the a small buffer of turbulent air to develop, and thus creating a smoother transition to the wake turbulence after the car...thus creating less drag and adding 5mph on the big end.

I cant tell you how many times Ive had that argument with people on that site over that.
Yea I kinda agre if you are goin to put that much time and money into a project you should really start with a decent chassis.
However, kudos for being unique. Take a picture so we can see what the civic looks like with an SRA in it.
9' is kind of an overkill but better be safe than sorry.
s2k trans won't bolt up to B, D, H, ... except K-series.
why would you drive 15k trans on a street when its only built for racing??
u can't down shift.. if you try to down shift.. it will just grind and most likely mess something up in the trans. that is not a street car in my book.
far as chassis it will be redone... just that i gave it away for free... can't beat that! lol
This car will be a long process.
thanks guys
and u guys lost me on the kuddos.. what is that ? props?

"Kudos" is a Greek word meaning "praise." It's not a plural; the "s" is part of the word.
It depends what GForce trans you are referring to. If you are talking about the Dog Ring GForce T5, I have that in my daily driven Mustang, no grinds when shifting. If you are talking about the GF5R or the GF2000 that may be a different story. I know that the GF5R does come in a road race model so shifting would be no problem. Judging by the $15K price you mentioned you are not talking about the GF T5.
You are absolutly correct, and that car is really a nice fab job........but can you really call it a civic any more, especially since it has more corvette stuff (suspension, engine, trans, wheels, rear end, even the seats, steeringwheel, and other misc interior bits) than it has civic.......
WTF are you wasting your money on a GForce trans for a 9-second car????? It it totally unneccessary. Just do an auto -- get an adaptor plate made, and a custom torque convertor, and you are set for ALOT LESS money than the Gforce.
Good luck with the project. I hope you have a decently size turbo -- i.e. at least 74mm -- to really have some fun with the project if you are going to do a 9" rear. The Toyota IFS 8.8" is an excellent rear end that can be had for next to nothing with a multitude of ring and pinion ratios to choose from, and they can handle ALOT of horsepower.
As well, I hope you have some bigger slicks than those tiny ass tires on the back currently if you are intending on having serious power in that car. If you are only doing 400whp, then they will be fine.
Not meaning harm; just giving constructive criticism so you don't waste a shitload of money learning the hard way.

thanks tim for the recommendations!!
Far as turbo wise.. probably staying in 70-72mm wheel and it will divided t4. but who knows yet
I'm thinking of just 10.5 tires biggest but we'll see.
yea, of course i will not be spending 15k on a trans.. and can't drive it on a street lol. far as auto... no thanks lol. 9s??? Bee already hit 9s @ 150+mph with FWD... thinking more of like high to mid 8s. at that kind of speed and power to weight ratio it can be done. but who am i kidding, i wish it was that easy lol.
but i'll have more when the car is done and drives! enough with teasing
