rebuild the trans, replace rear main engine seal, replace front seal on diff, aluminum radiator, rewire interior lights, weld onto frame rails so the sway bar will clear the oil pump, and finally hook up the damn speedo cable.
well the ultimate goal for myself is to be able to drive the beast this spring.....so that would include, trans, new wiring, putting the engine in, brake lines, fuel lines, ahhhhh I got my work cutout for me will be fun though
I was a Soldier, I am a Soldier, I will always be a Soldier
^^ you can do it though! Its early yet. Get one thing done everytime you go outside and you'll be amazed and how quickly it comes together

Got two plans.
Switching over to EFI from the carb. I ordered the Retroktek Powerjection system, the one that looks like a carb. Saw enough good testimonials on it to make the leap. Can't wait to get it and get it all installed and running.
The redo my sub box and amp rack.
Ex-Trans Am owner.
Money is tight....But....

Survive....and continue to stockpile parts
after I straighten out my other stuff thats goin' on...
- replace rattly ghetto catback w/ JDM e-bay catback.
- figure out why idle starts out @ 3k when cold, and then ocillates between 2k-2.5k till warm
- replace broken parking lamp connectors. Replace leaky parking lamps w/ blacked out parking lamps.
- Fix dead interior lights
- Replace ugly stock tails w/ something that more matches the tails on the GTO
- See if I can refinish the headlight lenses to be crystal clear again
- e-bay HIDs
- find some local 16" wheels & tires, as these look dryrotted
- fix starting rust.
- see if I can find a cheap hood and hatch to replace the dented hood and hatch w/ non working defrost and ripped off tint w/ a good one.
- Also, find a tarp for the GTO, while I work on the beater.
Thank god overnight parts from Japan are cheap.
Well, at the very least, I have an interesting back story.
^ you have rust already on the GTO? DANG

not the gto, sir
Well, at the very least, I have an interesting back story.
I had bought a front grille from Iola this past summer for the Biscuit and have been working on straightening that out, drilling out rivets and masking and painting the headlight recesses for the past 2 months. I finally have it all done and I think it turned out well. I'll try and get a pic of it
Still stock piling parts for my 4-speed swap. As well as finishing up getting a few odds and ends for my rearend build. The rearend should be ready to roll come spring

You're trying to keep it all pretty original and old school eh? Thats cool, hardly anyone keeps it simple anymore. Though part of me thinks it would be neat to see something funny like an original 283 car, but w/ a T-56 and some 4.10s or 4.56 gears
Well, at the very least, I have an interesting back story.
