Could always do a 9". still have the removeable center section and savings on weight.... but who would want to use ford parts in a GM

70 cutlass 442- dads car
95 stang- Stock long block 195,XXX miles
03 XC600 - bone stock (still faster then smokin ram)
03 Polaris predator- 4.250 bore (assembly required)
84- 4 eyed
9" robs more power than the dana 60, so any weight savings would be negated by the loss in power to the rear.
plus it's cheaper for the dana
Just in case you did'nt know, running a Ford in a prostock Pontiac is hilarious!!!!!!!!!

that suspension had NEVER been touched. Thank god for breaker bars and not needing any of the stock stuff. Hell I left the stock torque arm attached to the rear and just pulled back so it slipped out of it's rubber mount, haha. Forget dealing with those large rusted bolts.
Why did the thread with pictures get closed? Nice find on the dead president by the way.

yep, just keeps it easier so it could focus on the capabilities of some people.
Beers have been drank, and pics have been updated. Pretty hard to get stuff accomplished at 10pm at night when I first GET to there. haha.
So far, parts list is growing. Still trying to stay under budget, and this time of year you can definitely find some good deals on ebay and the message boards

Yeah, like staying with the carb setup instead of the EFI stuff, hahaha.
Wonder how happy Jim's gonna be when he realizes I need Ford parts in the engine
