I was kinda hoping it looked better in person, and let me tell you, IT DOES. The car is smoking hot, go see it in person, it looks SO much better than the pics.

4150 curb weight !!! Heavy ass car. It does look good retro if your in to carbon copies.
Just sayin
They actually have one at our show? I am honestly shocked.
IMO after seeing it in Chicago, it is the most excited a new production car has made me in atleast 10-15 years. I could not have fallen more in love with the car.

Yeah it does look a lot better in person.

Yeah, it's a silver "SRT-8" mock up. I am telling you Wayne, it won't put Patty on jackstands, it may get me to sell my truck and get something cheaper so I can start putting $$$$ away for when the stick version comes out though.
You know I can't get rid of Patty Wayne, JEESH!!!!
I wonder if they actually can make a stick version with the platform they're using. Maybe they configured the LX platform so that it would only work with the 5 speed auto. Stranger things have happened.

I want to be able to spend my retirement years driving my Buick at wide open throttle, at 45 mph, 'cause I shifted into L instead of D. But it's my own damn business and not the government's.
this post is worthless without PIC's..........
1969 Camaro SS, 350(NOM), M21, 12 Bolt Posi, 01B LOS Build
Yes, 6 speed is coming out for sure, as is 3.5L and 5.7L. 6.4L is up in the air, but is a possibility. They wanted to beat the Camaro and get a jump on the market, hence the first version is the stuff they had in the box already - basically a Charger SRT8 driveline and chassis.

If I EVER put my car up for sale it would sell it in under 3 days, and everyone here knows it.
And there will be the 6.1 in the SRT, they have comitted to that much at least. The dude they had up there didn't want to answer ANY questions besides about the 5.7L auto version though, it was kind of annoying.
ya. that car is awesome looking. guess im stuck going this weekend now. but by the looks, i might just have to start saving up for this car....lol
