I just picked up a 94 lightning motor and am curious about a possible oil runner in the lifter valley. Not really paying that close of attention in the past, has anyone seen this before??? Is it an oil runner for the distr. gear or something??

I got a hold of Darrell and some of the other ford guru's and they have all seen that in there blocks as well. I was a little worried there!

Its a way of lightening the block a little, just put some holes in it. Must be how that blown 363 is running low 9's.

I got to take some this weekend if the weather clears up, thanks for the reminder. I was hoping it would stay nice out a little longer so I could drive down to Culver's or something before hanging it up.
