Well I had talked to Chris and he told me to post up my results. I had gotten the car running the other week. Just needed to wait for my drag radials to come in to put on my extra set of 16" chrome T/A wheels. Anyways, so here's the setup....

Chris' old 382 motor
Hooker 1 3/4LT's with a borla
FAST 78mm intake w/ matching TB
12 bolt w/ 3.73's
4L60E stock
yank SS3800 converter
all the other minor bolt ons

The car was then tuned by Jim own at speed inc. and put down 441rwhp. The car is the fullweight Trans Am with no weight reduction other than the spare and back seat out.

Anyways I hit up GLD the other day just to get some runs in. I know what Chris' shake down runs were so i was expecting the same thing. but i guess he was right and his shifting does suck(haha got ya) from not racing a 6speed in so long. but first pass was a 11.5 @ 120mph spinning on the launch to a 1.9 60ft. really sucked ass cause i had to let off and slowly get back in it. next run heated up the dr's a little more since i think the first burnout was a little weak. gave 'em a good 10 sec 2nd gear burnout. lined up and pulled a great run. hardly any wheel spin and made it down the track. still a little issue w/ the tranny. i think it's giving up the ghost since it hit the rev limiter on the 2-3. i know it hadn't done that on the countless other WOT blasts. anyways, car ran a 10.94 @ 124mph on that 1.6 60ft. i'm really impressed. that's the last run since i don't have a cage. i'd really like to see what it could do with some weight reduction and a real set of slicks/skinnies on a really well prepped track day. wish i could hit a 1.4 60ft! hopefully i'll make it down for one of the KOTH events. got to make it to oscar's first but school is going to be killing me. thanks again for the good deal chris. i'm really happy with it.
