    Firing order for '94 F150 XL 5.0

I changed plugs/wires on my uncles truck... and it idled decently, but when he revved it and it went back to idle it would die, also hesitated when put in gear/driven a little.

So I thought i botched the firing order, looked up many sites that say the 302 5.0 is 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8, tried that and it won't even turn over now

I started from cylinder 1 and went counter-clockwise, so... what did I do wrong?

Just to make sure I have it right on the block, I have them like:
    [Rear to Front]
    4321 - pass side
    8765 - driver side

from front to rear it should go (facing front of engine)

    left: 1234
    right:5678

I only know this because my friends 96 F150 has that same order and if I am not mistaken the firing order has not changed with Ford V8's for all of eternity and has been that way. But that should be the right firing order, if not consult a haynes manual if there is one available.

yea... ok I have that part right at least.
They Chilton manual isn't really any help on this part. It only lists the firing order for the 4.9, 5.8, and 6.something... guess they forgot!

Well at least there's only 63 more different combinations to try :|
