Fully loaded Civic LX special edition: 5 speed, 6 disc cd/mp3, 115hp non vtec (D17A1 motor), nighthawk black pearl.

32 city 38 hwy says the window sticker, well see! so far 200 miles and lil under 3/4 tank

ha ha 39 mpg so far, 450 miles to a 13.2 gallon tank

Hahah reading on 7thgencivc the D17A1 non vtec motors actually run pretty good

The fastest stock LX is faster then the quickest EX with vtec and 127hp, the LX went 15.7@ 85 with a 2.2 60 ft, where the EX went 16.0 @ 86 with a 2.3 60 ft Supposedly the tranny gearing is diff between those models too, the LX gets a more aggressive 1st gear with a 4.xx FD where the EX gets a more aggressive final drive, up to 4.33

Most are in the mid-high 14s on a 50 shot and the fastest bolt on LX with the non vtec motor went 15.1@91 with a header, cat back, intake and suspension stuff

and a turbo'd non vtec 1.7 made 303 whp with 10 psi i saw on there too.

the car now has 700 miles on it and the motor loosend up a ton and really likes to rev now, but i cant get over how nice the car drives and rides but yet it handles like a go kart!

why did u get rid of the colorado? just for gas purposes? i guess i like my truck way too much....it's ok call me dumb but the truck stays in my garage......lol bowtie till i die

the trans gearing are different, as well as the weight differences from the LX to the EX, been there done that........... i have had a few hondas..... (runs away)

At costs of nearly 400 a month on top of the payment was killing me, so i stripped all the mods off it and traded it in. The thing would only get 20 mpg no matter city or hwy. it actually got worse with all the stock stuff back on it.

I dont feel too bad... the car was made in ohio and according the sticker it says 65% of the parts are of usa/canada source, only 30% is japenese.

wow.....i guess to save a good chunk of change like that.....do u miss the truck though? sure it was a lil more fun the the civic.....sometimes u just have to be practical...i wish i could find some small import or american 4 banger....very cheap i would give my truck a break....you should get some black rims with a polished lip for that car...would look nice..
