I do not believe that Jake has run his car yet--Last time I spoke with him, he was waiting on his motor to be finished.

8/2/05 update:
Finally received my crank, pistons, bearings, and main studs -- now I have everything I needed to finish the rest of the machine work. Hell, I may have an engine assembled by the end of next week if everything goes well.
Things that I am waiting on:
PRECISION TURBO -- they still have my turbo nearly 6 weeks later.
I guess we will see on that.

Who's doing your machine work? Are you assembling it?
Just my opinion...I think the main dowel kit is overkill. Again IMO, a rod or stroker piston will fail before you see your mains walk.
EDIT: I forgot you're building up your 7-bolt. I'm ASSuming main dowel kit adds a little bit of insurance vs crankwalk.
Good luck Timmmaaaay.

yeah, I would rather overkill the 7-bolt than see the crank go for a long walk.
Personally, I hope that it doesn't fail at all, but I will definitely make sure that I keep my rpms low--like 8000 max, since I really don't want to have piston speeds exceeding 5200ft/min make a rod go bye bye.
I like windows, just not in my block.
The machine work is being done in Green Bay, WI at Baril Engine & Machine --Randy --.
The assembly will be done in DePere, WI at Beyond Redline by Luke Stubbs.
Thanks Scotty!
