spotted it on 124 and Hampton, the catch here is it was black with cobra emblems on the fender and one on the back! It gets better.....it was a V6 It will be funny when some type R beats it and brags to everyone that they beat a cobra.

That's the very reason I hate the fact they'll sell those things to anyone... along with lightning badges. It's too bad they can't key them or something so they'll only fit the right car heh.

The fake cobra stuff drives me crazy as well. The guy who bought my '99 GT switched all the badging to SVT/Cobra...pissed me off.

lolol I love it when idiots badge there car up ike the better modles.
A few years back at Byron I ran a Saleen with my Grand Am(when it was stock) and killed him. I was like ok! A couple runs later I was up against it again. He had 3 cars on me by the 330 and just killed me. Once I got back to the lanes again the saleen that beat me was behind me and the V6 Saleen was infront of me! LOLOLOL 2 cars looked almost identical but one was a V6

I've seen that car before. I hate that when someone switches there badges. But it's still a nice looking car though.

In my opinion no, if someone wanted to take a 1970 318 Charger and completely change it to a HEMI clone car thats cool in my book.

Thanks, I have a compete 93 cobra body kit. I am a mechanic not a body guy so yeah.... I would like to get the body kit on and put some cobra Rs on it and repaint it the stock color. I don't think that I would put the badges on though.

IMO you can put the badging on the car once you have that cars drivetrain/engine or better

well right now I have done the motor swap and the tranny swap, I just have to do the rear-end swap this weekend and it will be my version of what a cobra should have been in 1986!
