    hey everyone

Hey how's it goin, i guess I'm the newest f-body to join up. Anyways i'm runnin an all stock '87 gta and i'm droppin in the 3'' flowmaster exhaust this spring. Aside from that all she needs is paint then i can look to some performance mods. I'm 16 so anyone have any advice for affordable performance? Hope to see you guys quite a bit this summer:

its a L98 so i hear you can make some decent hp fromt he tpi... i also heard mos of the problems for hp were from restrictive intakes and exhaust. i don't really want her to be a strip car.... mostly just my street/driver with balls when i want it. i think i'm going to need to go for the paint first just because it's down to the primer and starting to surface rust in places.

after that if you can you should get some 3.73's with posi and vetter servo and .500 boost valve for the tranny.and full exhaust.with that you should be well into the 14's - 13's with a 3k stall and good tires.

I would stay with the 3:27 rear gears for one cause the borg warnner rear ends cost lots of $$$$$ to build plus your not building for drag like you said!!
As far as the tranny goes for daily driver i perfer an auto the 700r4 will be plenty strong with a few add on's and if made right are better than a stick!!!
    IMO
