damn....wish i had seen that. i was way in the back of the staging lanes and saw the car start to turn sideways and then I saw everyone standing around the car....crazy. Hope its easily fixed.

No the track prep was so incredible, that it just sheered all the studs right at the axle. so time for 1/2" studs instead of the girlie 7/16" ones haha, maybe even go 5/8" studs. Body is ok, some little bit of damage, rim is chewed up, and the tire is suprisingly ok we inspected everything on the tire over and over and couldn't see any gashes or anything.

I appreciate EVERYONE's concern. I think what made me feel the best was everyone asking if I was ok and the number of people that at a drop of the hat were right up on the starting line helping out. Had to be like 20 people up there trying to help. So much Ray had to yell for them to get back and off the track. And a big thanks goes out to Clint from C&S Performance in Bulter, WI for helping me trailer it back to the barn. If you guys knew the mad thrash that happened in the previous nights before this race and being up till 3:30am the night before the race with 4 people helping out with the car. Did anyone see those three toyotas!! They were like some completely stripped 80s trecels or corolas that had a turbo 4cyl with some built manual tranny and converted rwd w/ a 9"! The damn things were all running mid 10's! The best was the 1st -> 2nd shift when the car bounced of the ground from the power/lightweight

Yes, that car is owned by my father. The intake was not made by himself although he did have a fabricator make it for him. The fabricators name is Dave Neu from Neutek Fabrication in Racine/Kenosha. I do have his phone number at home that I could post tomorrow is someone wanted it. Let me know...
