I've got a unique situation. I've got Box Drive deployed. I am trying to get rid of remaining network shares but one troubles me. We have network copiers in our building and people will scan documents to local SMB shares (home drives). I want to get rid of this but still need to be able to allow users to scan to their drives. I would prefer their "home drives" be out on box and not my local server. I was hoping I could create an SMB share from within the local Box Drive and then use that user's credentials to authenticate both between the copier and BD SMB share. It seems that BD keeps resetting the permissions - which kind of makes sense now that I think about it. For what its worth, when I was using Box Sync, this approach actually worked. It just doesn't now.

Any ideas on how I could handle this and still keep it simple/secure?

Please help.

I did not find the right solution from the Internet.
