Hi folks. So, I am purchasing a 2002 YZ250 since I thought it would be a good idea to have a green sticker bike. I already have a 2014 YZ250 and love it -- so I thought an older version of the same basic bike would make sense. My question to the YZ gurus is what (if any) updates/upgrades should I be considering to the 2002? I had heard there were minor improvements in 2003 to the cylinder, gearing (2nd gear ratio?), swingarm (something about flex characteristics and weight) and brakes. So, are any of these things worthy upgrades to consider? What about suspension in those years (pre-SSS)? I expect I will be going through the bike from top to bottom in any case -- so always a good opportunity to update any needed components.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
