    Personalized plates

Does it take forever to get these? I mailed in the application and check three weeks ago. Check hasn't been cashed yet. I had to do a title and plates by mail this spring, and that took over a month for me to get my plates and title. That was the first time I've ever done anything by mail with the DMV. Is a month standard turn around time with them?

I got mine in 2-3 weeks.

average is 2-3 weeks from what I have seen. If your choice is already in use or for some reason the DMV doesn't want to print it, It might slow it way down.

Check cleared yesterday and I got the updated registration for one today. I sent off for one car plate and one motorcycle plate. Neither were in use or remotely questionable.

Mine took exactly 3 weeks. Have you checked the website? It lets you track your expected delivery date?

One came Monday, second came today. Now to throw the DMV more money for collectors plates. Yay.

Well, at least with the collectors plates. It is one time fee and done forever.
