    Gas fireplace

Thought I'd share some pictures of my gas fireplace that I had installed. Just finished up some of the major work and coming down the final stages. My living room going into my kitchen really needed the extra heat. Love it.

Yes the blower and wireless remote. It does a great job heating up the area fast.

Looks awesome but why not make the shelves the entire wall? I like everything but that

On the left side I wanted to do that, all the way to the other wall, but the wife wanted it to be equal on both sides. As for the right side it would have messed up the walk way into the living room.

Updated pic, painted the bookshelves. Should be done this weekend.

Looks great! Are you doing a stone surround or anything? Would look great if you did or even subway tile. And also I would include a small tile pad in front of the fireplace on the floor. Great work!

We didn't have enough in the budget to do stone around the fireplace, but we did put cement board around the bottom for the use of tile or stone in the future.

    Thanks Guys!
