2000 Jeep GC limited blower motor

Has anyone done the repair kit for the wiring on a 2000 jeep grand cherokee limited with dual climate? Mine is in need of this part # for Kit is ------- 05102406AA. I'm just not to sure about cutting and splicing wires after some info people seem to have issues with the kit. The dealer wants $150 to install the kit if I supply it.

Sounds like poor terminal tension, nobody likes a loose female...terminal. Usually this leads to arcing, causing your melted terminals. This was a big issue on early to mid 2000's c/k trucks for GM.
