    small block chevy

    Hey guys,

Been awhile since i've been around these parts... been awhile since my 57' was on the road. I am close to getting her going... but I was wondering if anyone had a good for not a pile of cash shop that they could recommend for putting a good tune (setting the timing/ dialing in the carb/ checking out everything that I did to the car engine swap new clutch throwbearing etc.) I've taken it about as far as I can go with it and need a little push to get it to that next level. Thanks in advance and hope everyone is well.

Brian does excellent work...He did terrific work w/ the LRT, and I highly recommend them.

Another good, but non-dyno (and thus prob cheaper) place would be Kilpatrick's. I had had Jim go through the truck and fix a bunch of little issues, and while it was there, go through and tune it up...it was a good enough tune w/o running on the track or dyno that only ~ 14 hp were left in that combo by dyno tuning.

But the advantages of the dyno tuning were clear; while peak power improved only a bit, the area under the curve/powerbrand improved fairly substantially.

Can't go wrong with either really.

I'm going to +1 Kilpatrick for the carb tune, AFR and timing.

LMT is good also. Their specialty is FI but I know they work on carbs as well. Kilpatrick works with LMT on some cars.

    Can't see reasons on Tapatalk..

I am more than sure something was said either verbally or through text that compelled RB to retract his original statement..

Now back to ignoring your posts..
