Had plenty of expensive 22's over the years, tried building Rugers with expensive parts but when it comes down to it, its hard to beat a Marlin 60 micro grooved barrel. Field tested several loads before tearing this one down (its a shooter!) and adjusted sear/hammer, springs and trigger retrun spring to 4.7#, may go less but its nice and crisp. Anodized blue and red, guy at work is gonna put a crazy squirrel on stock before I polish and clear it all. Nikon BDC 3-9, the segments were very close at 125 yards with CCI Stingers.

The rings are temporary, perfect height just experimenting before wasting money (wanted the scope as close as possible but hate dovetails).

I've been on a Nikon kick for rimfires for a few years now, ask Coop what my AR-15/22 S&W looks like in text pics!
The fixxed and variables are crystal clear, just make sure you get the rimfire for its paralex settings. Redfields new
scopes are getting great reviews too.

We could use bedliner on stock, durable and great texture to grip. Im game, we need more "fun projects" for drinking nights in garage.
I'll ready the cans of paint, little trigger work while apart.

Looks cool but I suggest when posting any gun build pics to remove any and all Duct tape from all camera angles..

I've always been a fan of Marlin 70, Remington 597, and Marlin 70 in that order. Tube magazines are just such a PITA.
Buy made in the United States. Otherwise your job might be next. Unless you already wear black shoes and a visor with golden arches on it to work in which case your fellow american has already failed you.
