Well these blinds and shades in my house are vintage 1970's and gotta go, I have never remotely did anything with sizing cutting or purchasing blinds/shades.
At work we actually had Budget Blinds install some big ass ones, they were pretty dam reasonable but I'd like to possibly do it myself
I like the Cloth style that retracts up

Lowes has a sale on cut-to-fit blinds right now.
Buy made in the United States. Otherwise your job might be next. Unless you already wear black shoes and a visor with golden arches on it to work in which case your fellow american has already failed you.

Menards has a pretty good selection and will also cut them.
Big as they have in store is 72". I needed an 80". Special order was like $65.TaninAutoElectronix
