I think much of the narrative is overwrought scare-mongering and unfactual. But it looks alright.

Waste of time and boring, not to mention false. The batteries do just as much if not more harm then the emissions do to non-eco cars.

Lol I'm not an eco freak. Just trying to put up a good informational niche. Just seeing what I could do to make it more acceptable to the public. If some one types any thing about hybrids, I want them to go my site.

    Elite, eco car.

And no Tesla Model S? (They are taking pre-orders on it)

I'll get to the model S alone with many more. Still finishing up the spec sheets for the cars I have. I'm thinking of adding another tier 2 page. Any ideas that's hybrid related? Some thing everyone likes.

Truth! Honesty, I am against them, and I cant justify the extra cost of them....Why would I spend 26,000 to 30,000 for a base Prius (depending on what model you choose) when I can get a Ford Fiesta which gets damn close to the same mileage for 22,000 fully loaded? makes no sense to me.

    26k... uhh know your competitors.
This is straight off the websites for the base model of both.

    Prius c:
    $18,950
    53/46

    Fiesta:
    $15,670
    29/40

Prius is way cheaper than you quoted and FWIW it gets 15% better economy on the highway and 82%!! better in the city. For anyone with a urban or even normal suburban commute that will be a considerable difference in fuel economy. Although I'll bet the Prius c has the dullest ride this side of a city bus.

Not to mention, There are a good amount Prius C owners getting over 70mpg even though they are rated at 50

Likewise, my fiance has a 2011 Ford Fiesta SEL. The car sees a majority of its driving in the city and averages 37-42 mpg. On the freeway we have gotten 45 or better. I am speaking form my experience, others might be different.

In retrospect, I was quoting from the prius website on the v. I found your report on the Prius c, however you have your pricing on the Fiesta wrong. Here is the starting prices of the Ford Fiesta from Fords website http://www.ford.com/cars/fiesta/pricing/

Now, the general thought with a lot of people is that even though most hybrids usually have a higher cost than gas powered vehicles in the same size class, you will be saving so much money on fuel. So if you take the advertised combined fuel economy of the Toyota Prius C (50) versus the advertised combined fuel economy of a Ford Fiesta (33, doing this instead of using my OBSERVED fuel economy), how long will it take the average consumer to make up the $5200 price difference between the two vehicles?
here is the formula that I used (michelle, please check this to make sure that my math is correct) figuring that the average person drives 15000 miles per year and gas being $4 per gallon:
Prius c: 15000/50x$4.00=$1200 fuel cost per year
Fiesta: 15000/33x$4.00=$1818 fuel cost per year
    Total difference= $618
Total time to make up the $5200 price difference from base model to base model:8.41 years

Considering the average person gets a 60 month (5 year) or a 72 month (6 year) loan, and usually gets rid of the vehicle after that amount of time (considering the car will have about 90,000 miles on it by the end of the 6 year time period), the person who bought the Prius is still out $1240......

To me, to pay 5200 more just to take me 8 years on average to make up the difference in fuel savings isnt worth it.

I burn my garbage and the last pile might of had a tire in it.. I assure you that I have made up what you have lost in carbon emission.
