Fence materials/ Patio door install

Just a little update. Most likely going today to get the materials for the deck. We ended up going with wood. just couldn't justify the amount that companies wanted for the vinyl since I was laid off so much last year. It should all be done by next week when the chainlink gets here.

You probably should have ran the concrete for the posts right up to grade. Any dirt sitting around the posts will cause them to rot pretty quick. We had a fence in our yard when we moved in. The posts started to snap at the based in any kind of wind because there was about 5-6" of dirt covering the concrete and rotting the wood. The fence was 5-6 years old at the time.

I didn't do the work. I was going to go out there today and take a look at how far up the concrete went though.

Almost done. Still need to do the patio and a couple small things to the deck. They are coming to install the chainlink and finish the door later this week. Getting some progress at least.
