    WTB: Winter Beater

    Hi all. I was wondering if anyone knew of a nice winter beater for sale around the $1,000 price range for sale? Need something to get me to school/work and back reliably. Ive seen previous posts for winter beaters get a fair amount of responses with some quality cars. Thanks

    Truck listed in my sig is a fantastic winter beater, but I can't sell it for a few weeks yet, and I would be looking for a couple hundred more bucks! You can buy a $1000 cavalier and dig it out every time it snows, or my $1300 truck and yank your friends $1000 cavaliers out of snowbanks!

    I can do a couple hundred more...keep me posted...as long as the weather holds up I wont need something just yet.

    1995 honda civic 4dr. Auto, 280,xxx miles, rusty but trusty, newer snow tires on the front, burns about a quart of oil every 1500 miles or so, crack on the passenger side of windshield. $900
