GLD Street Tire Night October 18th

Is anyone interested in Street Tire Tuesday October 18th at GLD if it doesn't rain?
Projected forecast is looking good. Should be nice and cool for some hot times.

I just had my Nitto 555R DR's mounted and want to try them out.

I'm hoping to get my car to hook.
I was trapping 115mph at Edgwater Race Park in Cleve Ohio last weekend but was only pulling a 13.0 second 1/4 with a 2.1 60 ft. Pretty much sit-n-spin.

13.0 at 115? wow. yeah, you needs da traction. my NT555Rs did wonders for that.

Yea, I'm hoping low 12's at least. My gears are the next obstacle. T5 with 4:10 but I can ring it to about 6700RPM without worry. The torque curve pretty much starts to drop off at that point.

Went out tonight. Met another V8RX7 out there. An FD with LS2/T56 and mods.
Had a good headwind and track prep wasn't very good.
Consistent 12.8sec 1/4 mile at 113mph 12.0 60ft.
Best run of the night was 12.6sec, 114mph, 1.87 60ft.
On a good night with track prep and fine tuned driving I think I can crack 11.9 but it'll have to wait until next year.
I still had a lot of motor but my driving sucks. LOL

The FD was spinning the tires all the way down the track. His best was 12.1sec 1/4mile at 125mph. 60ft times were constant 2.0

Still had a good time. Probably the last time for this year. I got some video but I'll need to download it from the camera.
