Nice numbers, have my 383 bested especially in the HP department. Just had it dyno-ed less than a month ago at LMT as well . Also interested in your build specs.

Here's a pic of the motor right after I dropped it in about a month and a half ago.
I had to rebuild it after over revving and breaking a rocker stud which took out an intake manifold gasket which hydrolocked cylinder #3. This happened at GLD on a run after doing a previous 12.9 with a 1.9 60 on street tires. (It was a 355 then)

The block is a 1979 thick walled high nickel 350. Bored and stroked to 383.
It was align honed and deck plated. All the machine work was done by Kilpatrick Engines.
    Callies 400 crank
Howards pistons and rods (balanced with the crank)
    All Comp Cams valve train.
    Specs:
Comp Cams Extreme Energy Cam CS XS290S-10
    Intake Lift= .540 Exhuast Lift=.558
    Duration @ .015 Intake=290 Exhaust=298
    Duration @ .050 Intake=252 Exhaust=260
    LSA=110.0

Vortec Iron heads. Pocket ported, polished, SS 2.02 intake valves 1.60 exhaust valves and seats, Comp cams dual springs with Comp Cams 1.50 roller rockers, screw in studs.
    Solid lifters

Edelbrock RPM Air Gap for Vortec intake
    Edelbrock Thunder Series 650 Carb
Walbro 255 in tank fuel pump connected to a Quick Fuel FPR.

    FluiDampr Street Series damper

MSD 6AL Ignition Box with MSD Blaster coil and MSD Pro Billet Small Form Factor Dizzy.

Clutch is a Center Force Dual Friction
    Wilwood 1" clutch master

    Trans:
    T5 World Class (T5 14 spline 1" shaft)

    Pro-5.0 shifter with Steeda handle

Custom made Drive shaft from Machine Service in Waukesha

    Diff:
Stock 8" TII S4 Clutch pack posi IRS
    929 axles
Modified pinion mount on rear cradle

Hedman Elite conversion headers connected 2.5 inch pipes to Magnaflow exhaust.

There's a little more but this is the jist of it.
The car has been an ongoing neverending project for about 3 and a half years now.
This motor is the third build since I bought the car as a basket case back in 2008.

There's a lot of GoKart like suspension mods as well.

    Thanks for the nice comments.
It was nice meeting with fellow forum members. I belong to another forum (norotors.com) and we only get together once a year.
I'm looking forward to doing more events and meets with everyone here.

Nice build and car! How much does the car weigh?

Good taste in valve covers too :

I also run Vortecs with my 383 and the other car/350 as well. The 383 car's time is in my sig below but a 2.1 or 2.2 60'. My goal is to crack 12's with it, maybe a little carb tuning and DR's hopefully does the trick.

Car weighs about 2900 with 1/2 tank of gas. (truck scale)
I'm hoping to crack 11's with it now. It all depends on keeping the tires planted and shifting out of the hole. My T5 is a low ratio with my 4:10 rear end.
Even with the pathetic 1st gear I found my 60' times were better than starting in 2nd.
This motor has a lot more torque so I might have trouble lighting up the tires on launch. I know I'll do better with slicks or DR's but then they just bring out the next weak link.
I'll probably hammer on it after a norotor club get together next month down in Indy. I have access to some DR's so we'll see...
