FS: Cheap driver $1500

Selling my fiance's old car for her to help pay for our wedding. It's a 1998 Saab 900 SE with the 2.0 turbo engine and a 5 spd manual transmission. Engine has 227k miles on it and I would not hesitate to drive this car across the country. It's a real strong running car. Clutch was replace maybe 20k miles ago, transmission was replaced at same time with a good used unit. Exhaust has been replaced with a stock Viggen exhaust, tires still have plenty of tread left. Car has had a radiator and thermostat replaced shortly before the clutch.

This car is 13 years old and does have some flaws. A/C does not work, left rear window needs a regulator, has some rust (paint peeling up more than anything). Other than those minor issues this car is good to go. Will entertain offers, but I work at a family owned Saab Specialist shop and have done all the work to this car myself so I know it is good to go, thus low ball offers will get nowhere. If you don't like the price, don't look.

If I wasn't hurting for money I would pick this up. Pics on your Craigslist add make the car look good. Doesn't look like the typical POS that 1500 would normally get you.
