Trade ya a Springfield Armory 1911A1 for the upper minus scope, rings, and bi-pod. I have two magazines, one 7 round that came with it and one Kimber 8 round.
BTW, this has been in my personal collection long before I starting my company. I can legally trade this FTF.

$500 range new is typical for the GI spec. Yes, they make variations. This one is basic, no frills.

Must be nice to get dealer cost... so I don't doubt thats true, but fair market on the upper would be $650ish as a run of the mill 20" varmint upper with standard FA/shell deflector/trapdoor upper and a plastic forend. The carbon forend wasn't cheap and had to be custom made to fit over the bull barrel, and the MM upper costs about double what a regular YHM A2 upper receiver costs. The side charger conversion was actually only $30 plus shipping which I thought was a steal. I guess what I'm saying is its not worth trading off to an entry level parkerized 1911.. I know I'm a cheap bastard, but I don't think I'm off base here in saying that your offer is below value, and its not like I need a 1911 to save my dying grandmother.

Understandable. I'm finding this to be one of the drawbacks to getting dealer pricing. What looks like an equal trade on paper to me is way off for someone having to pay retail. I've been contemplating upgrading my 1911 and I have a lower receiver sitting around waiting for me to build a 6.8 upper for it. I figured if we could work a deal this would allow me to get some use out of it in the mean time. Good luck with the sale, damn fine rifle you've got there!!!
What ranger were those sight in groups shop at?
I'm guessing I would under-value the cost of IT support as well, since it is what I trade in every day, so, next time I'm looking to buy, I'll definitely look in your direction, given I probably could have shaved about $100 off my build cost on this thing.. and that was already hunting and waiting for deals.

I paced off 100 yards (aprox) once I got it close, but, that was the weekend of that late freak snow, and I was shooting off the bipod. At some point I need to bench test it to see what it will really do vs what I was doing with it. This is my first rifle, and the 2nd one I've shot, so in better hands it should be capable of much better than that.
edit: also just noticed the hit on the lower left of the right target, that is not part of the group. I had 2 of the 4 target sheets up, and was pretty far off when I started.

Too bad my beater F150 isnt worth $1400. I wouldnt mind an AR-15 but I think I'd go more towards the 16" barrel since I have the AR-10 for distance shots.
GLWS
Also your GTO needs turbos, didnt see that listed so there's an idea =P
Beater: 96 Dodge 1500 5.9 4x4 trans fixed!!
Toys: 70 Saab 99 GT3/GTU, 54 Chevy Bel Air Sedan
I've had a turbo car, so if FI happens, it'll likely be of the belt driven variety. I've seen a couple TT cars that were NASTY though.
Trying to get cash and your F150 had occured to me...
I'd sell it without the barrel.. just sayin. I think I could get $200 out of the barrel/gas system, and I do have the wrench for the barrel nut/forend. It would suck if you had to reindex the barrel nut though, because there is a hole drilled for the swivel stud.
