    Ha! Slowest launch ever!

So if this is true, than the 250 ninja is faster than a 1098?

This went sideways....... HA HA HA

Tomorrow I get to bring it home and I cant sleep I bet!! Its all Porks fault too. When he first got his he brought it by my work at greenfield and sitting on that thing was sooo nice! Now, 10,238 miles later on my older bike I may not be advanced like many but Im confident enough to ride it and yet respect it too.

Many, I put that many miles on that bike still surprises me I didnt even realize it till I looked at my bill of sale versus one I wrote for new owner

Again, you will love it! And always remember you can unplug 2 spark plugs and still make the horsepower of his Ducati 748!
All in fun! Love me some Ducati, just not practical for me. In other words, I'm fat and old...

Got it home folks! Im a fan of it even though I need a seat and a cowl. Will take some getting used to thats for sure with that clutch required start. Hell, does your bikes require that the clutch lever is almost at the handle before it will start?

Mine has to be pretty close to the bars, yes. Try adjusting the clutch lever, sometimes it helps.
Also, I'd just get those seats re-covered instead of buying stock seats. There should be someone local that could handle that for far cheaper than buying used seats..
    Looks great!

You can bypass the clutch switch too if you want. Its only two wires that go in right at the clutch perch. Just connect them together and never look back.. Unless you dump it because it was in gear, then you'll wish we never had this conversation...

I'll leave it be, was looking at ebay seat covers too. I gotta call erickson auto trim in racine and see what they would charge for simple wrap of the stock seat for sure

There was a guy advertising on Craigslist as well offering motorcycle upholstery. Might check into that. I think he was around Union Grove..

    WOW...

nice choice!!!! So much more comfortable then the GSXR's. I loved my old '04 as well.

Best thing is, if you want to start playing with the tune on it, we can do that for ALOT cheaper than a power commander.

    www.boostbysmith.com

the ECU flashing kits. SO easy to install. they make the air shifter harness as well. hahaha.

All depends on what you want to do. But definitely do the flashing kit if you ever want to play with the tune on it.

Congrats again! places like hayabusa.org and psychobike.com/forums and their hayabusa section will get you all kinds of info.

    Then don't forget these....

Went and checked out pricing today and the first place I went to just stared at the seats for a little while and pulled a number out of his head in a guess of $80 and about 2 weeks before could do it to wrap the seats so I came home grabbed my electric staple gun got a couple yards of vinyl and went to town. The front seat came out perfect. I have two folds in the front of the rear seat on the corners. Im pleased with my first ever try and TONS TONS TONS better than before

I really dont like how the seats looked at all, cant believe someone paid to put that on their bike.
