The first "bought" mod for my Z!!!!

HA! Look at what I found! I've been looking for the grid style tail lights for my car for over a year now but they are always so damn expensive (or I am just that cheap) that I never did. Finally my search has ended! Found a pair of them on e-bay w/buy it now for $24.99!!! Paid for and on there way! Little worn but nothing a thin coat of epoxy resin and some new paint can't cure

Sorry just had to tell someone

Ya I've been looking on there from time to time for some of these but they always sold for $100+ and most were fairly beat up. As it was I had to sift through over 1700+ listings to find these I think I got pretty lucky

Ebay is good for parts. Have bought several myself. As a matter of fact I bought a set of heads for my 305. Decided not to use them, so I'm trading this kid that I work with the heads and an lt1 cam and fifty bucks for a 91 350.

Hey Kevin, what is the stuff called? Is it Race Glaze? I'm gonna need some the one is pretty dull and needs some work. The left side seems to be in pretty good shape though.

The cleaner stuff I was talking about is called Novus, its a 3 level cleaning polishing setup for any and all plastic surfaces. I have a link to the stuff on ebay where they sell it as a kit, at a half way decent price. Ive seen it go for anywere from $5 to $10 per for the same size ones that are in the auction. There are a couple of places localy that sell it too, but they are usualy on the higher side for the price.

kaotik, where is this junk yard? if your talking about Al's you got really lucky finding good tails there much less getting them that cheap.

Thanks for the info Kevin. Maybe I should just have you out for a beer sometime and we can hit'em then? Otherwise I'll just buy a kit $20 really isn't that much. I think that KAOTIK was just a drive through though, hasn't been back since
