    Computer in a Coma

So my MSI Wind u123 netbook is acting like its in a coma.
Came home one night and seemed like the battery was dead. I plugged it in, and after an hour or so (still while plugged in) I went to turn it on, and only the "sleep" light is on.
I tried it without the battery in also, same problem. I put the battery back in, took it off power...same issue. I even went as far as to open up the case and check my heat exchanger/sync to see if it was plugged...nope. I unplugged the battery for the clock, waited 10 minutes, plugged it back in and tried it all again....no dice.

There is no fan noise, and a small (barely audible click) from the HDD and thats it. No screen or anything else, and only the "sleep" light is on. Any thoughts before I scrap it and upgrade?

Will it run plugged in with the battery out?

Nope, no combination seems to make a difference.

    Longshot...

    1. Take out the battery.
    2. Remove AC power cord.
    3. Hold power button down for 30 secs.
    4. Put only power supply in, do not put battery in.
    4.5 Cross fingers.
    5. Turn laptop on.

I'll take it if yer gonna scrap it :P

Any idea what the actual issue with it could be tho? Even if I do get rid of it, I'd like to know what the hell failed.

PM me the serial number, model number, OS, etc... and I will see if I can find anything out directly from MSI. I am an authorized MSI Partner so I have access to some tech support channels that aren't open to consumers.
