Shoei TZ-R helmet. Nothing too fancy. May look to upgrade it next spring to something newer. Isn't a rule of thumb to upgrade your helmet every 5 years or so anyway?

Why would I spend money for different liners when I can get a new helmet that fits from the get go. There is also a pump on the inside for your cheeks. It cost me nothing to exchange.

Bell Vortex in white. Probably will upgrade in the future but for the price it has nice features (chin baffle, neck roll, nice venting)

I also put on the transitions shield, which is pricey but awesome. Goes clear in low light and dark in sunlight. (much like self tinting perscription sunglasses)

What did you give foe the transitions shield? I have self tinting prescription glasses and am not nuts about them, but for reasons that I don't think would be an issue on a helmet. A regular tinted shield costs more than I wanna spend, so something tells me I'm not gonna like the price of one!

I wear an arai vector haga replica(fire and ice) as well as an arai profile riptide. My fiance wears a shoei rf1000 breakthrough. Arai is the only helmet I have ever put on that I just had to have.

Um yeah. Fuck that! Putting sun glasses on after sinching down my lid isn't $120 worth of an inconvenience!

Anyone know if you can wear glasses and use the internal tinted visor on the Scorpion EXO1000? Wondering if it would hit the glasses when down

I have this exact helmet and I got the tinted sheild and chin guard. So far I like it, could use a little more air flow when its hot out but I like it more than my old brain bucket. Nice lid for under $100 brand new.

I picked up a Scorpion EXO-500 the other day in flat black. It's a great helmet for the money. I almost pulled the trigger on a Shoei Qwest but decided to go check out the Scorpion first. The Scorpion isn't as nice as the Shoei, but for the money saved it was worth it. VERY happy with the purchase.

It's got the flip down visor, inflatible cheek pads, fully removable liner.....

Picked it up at a scooter shop downtown Milwauakee. $200 out the door tax and all.

^^^^Yup from them the 400's were a great price but sold out of my size in all models http://sportbiketrackgear2.homestead.com/geronimo.html

FYI they run a little tight but loosen up after you wear it a few times. I believe L XL and 2XL are all the same shell and it is cheaper to buy new pads elsewhere in the size you need than Pay for return shipping and shipping of new helmet if you get the wrong size. Mine loosened up but I was checking into it when I first tried it on.
