    Where to find seats?

    Alright,
so where do you go to find WHOLE seats(besides ebay) for a classic car.

do any of the restoration houses sell complete seat assemblies that are restoration specific(not aftermarket or "sport" style seats)??

i don't want to be buying pieces and then assembling something. I'd be willing to pay for the nice setup and I don't want to buy used for the coin that they ask and then rebuild it anyways.

Yes they do sell them restored, but be prepared $$. What car Chris. Honestly buy good cores and have them recovered and new foam if needed.

Couple of different things. Found a '65 442 that needs some interior work. Tried getting hold of the owner but haven't heard back yet. Don't know for sure if I'd go through with it, but it's an option.

Guess Jefferson should be fun atleast, haha

Chris maybe try legendary auto interior that is where I got my interior stuff from. They do sell completed seats, but not sure if they do 442 stuff. Also try Becky's Dad I am sure in his collection of parts he has some cores for sale....he has everything!

Try make specific boards. Thats how I got mine (from the Olds Club of America board, there was a guy down in Sturdevant that had a set). 64-5 seat cores are the same just different cover patterns. Since its a 65 442 you could try here http://ultra-hi-comp.proboards.com/ they are a bunch of good guys. Also for authentication (since there are a lot of fakes around these days) try Bro's site http://www.442bro.com/ And Jasen who owns the 65 442 board also has a site about his 65 442 with info on it. http://www.ultra-high-compression.com/
