Not as cheap to build now, when I built it it cost me under $300 total. That's when you could buy brand new in the wrap barrels for $39.

I know, I see them assembled and nothing special for $500-$800, gotta check shotgun news for the kits. Do you have to get anything through an FFL holder or if it's all in pieces like that cna you just get it straight to your door?

Depends if you are going to bend and weld your own receiver. I bought a cast stainless receiver from Century, so that had to go through an 01FFL, I transferred it through K Wadhams in tosa. The rest of the parts kit I bought from Century direct. I have my 03C&R on file with century so I just contacted my Century rep, paid for it and she set it up with Wadhams.

NEF Pardner 12ga pump. This is my all-around shotgun. Use it for skeet and everything. I just painted the stock and forend desert tan using Krylon Ultra Flat Camo paint.

My first gun- Ruger 10/22. Fiberforce stock, 4-12x40 Bushnell, TufferBuffer, and Butler Creek hotlips mag. This thing LOVES CCI Minimags!

My Remington 770 in .308... all box stock. 3-9x32 Bushnell. After about 75 rounds the bolt has broken in nicely (people complain they are too stiff) and slides right back when I tilt the gun. I have a UTG Bipod I plan to put on one of these days. It shoots about 2-1/2" groups at 200yds from a rest (not bad for a $300 gun), I am much less accurate of a shooter.

My baby, my DEL-TON M4. Chrome barrel, M4 feed ramps, JP Enterprises springs, NC Star BUIS, Tru-Glo red/green dot. She eats Wolf and Tula all day (alright, I did have one stick after burning through 2 mags rather quickly).

Not ammo wise...^^ unless you buy bulk, you're looking at $1/rd for halfway decent .308 ammo.

I don't shoot too much, so it'd take a good decade to spend the $1000 difference on ammo. lol

Federal .308 was only $14/box at walmart last time I bought it and shoots great out of my CETME.

cool people reload there own ammo.. I just reloaded 1k rounds of 40 cal the other night.. I paid roughly 15 cents a round.. of course I have all the shells already so that cut my cost big time.

I plan on reloading 5.56 sometime this weekend also.
