Thread: Happy Pi Day!

  1. #1

    Happy Pi Day!

    Woohoo math (and science) geeks!

Made little pi's for the staff, including some spoke-alarm-specials.

Made pi cookies for my math students today.

And even have a new shirt to wear today.

    Enjoy the day! (:

Doesn't look like anyone is celebrating at my work I remember in HS, all the math teachers would bring in pies and let us watch movies all day

Well technically 1592 if your not rounding. I always remembered pi out to nine digits for some reason, probably because that's what the ti-83 rounds out to.

TraceDaddy rounded which is probably why I got confused. When I think of pi, I think of 3.14159 which is all I've ever been able to remember for an extended period of time

My students really enjoyed the day. It's rare they get a Monday-Thursday without homework (I don't give homework out on Friday), so no homework yesterday was the icing on the cookies, next to pi of course!
