    Project Blackout

    Bought this night rod special 2 weeks ago. Of course I can't leave anything alone like most of us can't.

    Buying new vrod muscle wheels and powdercoating them black. all controls being powder coated. New sleek headlight. black drag bars. Some other odds and ends.

    Only Harley bike out there that I really want now and isnt a slow pos. Muscle wheels should be here in a couple weeks. Not going to be too much on the bike that is not black when I am done.

    got most of the powder coat back today. having them redo the pulley and the levers.

    Took the bike out for the first time tonight. Rides very good. Good power. Never had a chance to test ride when I bought it. Snow on the ground. I am not a fan of the rear fender or the stock seat. Still might change those out. Still need a few fine adjustments. Blacking out the upper for tubes yet. Also ripping off the ugly ass reflectors.

    What did you use for a headlight? Looks the same as mine, but HID. I would like to convert mine to HID as well.

    It is a the A style headlight off a regular VROD. the night rod light sucked ass. Puresound hooked me up with the HID from that DDM site. Cheap $40 mod for a HID and easy install also.
