    condo and water leak

I live in a 2nd floor condo. I got a call from my neighbor downstairs saying shes having water come down through her ceiling. My wife was upstairs in the whirlpool bath.

Now we give my daughter a bath in that same tub, but don't turn on the jets. So we were assuming it was something with the jets causing the leak. Till yesterday when my wife took a bath and didn't use the jets and we got a call again.

Any thoughts on what to look for? Looks like I'm going to be responsible for the drywall repair in her place too in addition to the plumbing right?

Home owners insurance should cover it. If its not on the out side then the drain seal is bad or you could have a hair line crack in the tub thats expanding when the tub is full.

thanks for the help. Not sure if I'll have to get insurance involved. I'm taking pictures just in case.

You surely would be responsible from the sound of it (all repairs), not the condo association, if that's what you mean.
