    snowmobile trails

Does anyone know of a place to park unload some snowmobiles and catch the trail. I am in the Milwaukee area and don't want to go to far. Maybe in the muskego waukesha or Racine area or something. I usually ride up north, but have the sleds at home and want to take them out probably on Monday for a little while. any gas staions or bars on the trail or something might work. Also where can I find trail maps. Thanks!

trail maps are usually at any gas station up in those areas, I've even picked them up at a local bar here and there.
Im in milwaukee too, and face the problem of trying to find a place to ride. I'll head down to Waterford to ride the river off of Tichigan. I heard that out by Jackson is pretty good too.
Kettle morain has places you can park your gear and catch the trails, with a $5 fee (honor system).

You can drop at Shamrock bar south of Oak Creek if you want Racine trails. Otherwise you can drop out by HWY 18 and 83 in Wales at Saxes Supper Club and ride the Drumlin trail. I think they still charge $5 but you get it credited back to you if you go in for food or drinks. If you can get ahold of a Waukesha map, there are some places out by Mukwonago listed on the map you can also drop at.
