    Wait, isn't 1/8 mile for guys that are afraid to go all the way to the end? Kinda like staying in the shallow end of the pool?

    hahah..... takes a real tuner to put full power in less then 200ft

    Let me tell you first hand experience-
    last good hit in the 1/4 on my car was 7.70@193 (in 2009)
    that was with a 5.09 1/8th mile time.
    We've been 4.70s@160 in the 1/8th before we got fed up with the ladder bars and took the car apart for "restructuring".
    It took ALOT of learning to get the car to 60ft better and bring in the power to not blow the tires off-
    it takes very little effort to hold the pedal down for the last 660ft.
    As far as tuning, all there really is in the last 660ft is air/fuel and MAYBE a slight ramp.
    MPH don't win drag races!
