    Question Property Taxes

    Okay its that time of year again. So how much did your taxes increase ?

    Mine went up $ 138.00 Not as bad as I thought but it still hurts.

    Mine went up 16.8% or about $350. Passed a school referrendum here. Barely had enough in my escrow account because they also raised my home owners about $150 this year.

    Mine is assessment is down about 20k from 2 years ago but taxes still went up.

    Mine went down $126. Never thought i'd EVER see the day. Couldn't believe it and totally made my day. Soon as I seen that blue envelope in the mailbox I was like "here we go". I was shocked.

    Most of the reason it went up is because the community actually voted to raise the taxes! Apparently the schools weren't good enough

    Our assessment went down a whopping $1,700....everyone else in StAllis I've heard so far has gone down 9k or so.

    * Just looked at another friend of mine on 98th, his assessment went down $6,000 and taxes up $100.
