    Opinion question....bench or buckets?

So I will be receiving my 70 SS L78 pending the weather and shipping co Monday. I is painted the original color, cranberry red and has the original bench seat and is a 4 speed. Should I keep the bench or convert to buckets with console? Tough decision for me.

I take it it is a chevelle?

It's hard to imagine a chevelle w/o buckets...but I've always had a thing for bench seats and 4 speeds. LOVE the twisted sticks that go with them....

so what I'm saying is, I'm no help at all in this decision.

had to edit my post above...meant to say bench as well. Both the valiant and coronet had bench seats, and it just seems proper.

Have to say, I did like the stick in the valiant...contorted and twisted like the incredible hulk went to town on it or something.

good kill on the chevelle btw!

this is what i was taught about old cars...

    bench seat 4speed - single
    bucket seat automatic - married

    you make the decision

1st-2nd shifts and a handslip with the girlfriend next to you was all the rage I was told, haha

Bench. I ripped the bench out of the Belvedere and I regret it.

May as well keep the bench for awhile, if you don't like it you can switch.

And it's a hell of a lot easier to have sex vs. bucket seats.

Bench is cool since their not very common.
The only bench SS i recall seeing around here is Mike from Waterford with the light blue 70SS. He doesn't bring the car out very much.
