    If its setup right with the stud girdle cover it will hold quite a bit.

    yea i was thinking the same thing i would have the ls1 on here for 8g's way before i shell out another 6 for a 3rd gen lol

    No... It correct being a 9-bolt. Its an australian built Borg/Warner axle assembly. They are marginally tougher than the corporate 10 bolt. These rears ended up in 5 spd TPI cars or L98 TPI 3rd gen cars.

    FYI when you call it a 9 bolt , 10 bolt or 12 bolt, its reffering to the number of bolts that hold the ring gear to the carrier, more so than reffering to the number of cover bolts.

    Yep marginally stronger, and harder/more expensive to find parts for.

    I'd be interested to see what he ends up getting for the car. My experience is not alot of people wanting to spend money on a thridgen, regardless of money dumped into them.

    The rims are dated. But there is shit for a selection of aftermarket wheels for those cars unless you pay bucks for custom offsets. Thirdgenners are notoriously cheap though by nature. lol
