    Motorcycle Ramp-truck

    Hi
I have an 06 HD Ultra Bagger. (motorcycle Ramp)
I am shopping for a P/U truck. ( any American Made Truck)

    Questions,
is there someone i can talk to decide what kind of truck will work best?
F150/Silverado Full Size, or Colorado/Ranger size?
and how do i get the BCM discount?

    Thanks
    super bike mike

It will fit in a fullsize truck alot better. Most of the compact trucks will leave the rear tire sitting right at the end of the bed or partialy on the tailgate. If you get a fullsize long box you could actualy close the tailgate with the bike in the bed.

With it being a harley bagger the advantages for your back in buying a trailer over using a ramp to get it in back of a pickup are exponential.

Motorcycle Ramp Choices for 2006 HD Bagger

    Hello Mike,

There are a few options for you to choose from with that type of bike.

You can see them on our motorcycle ramps category page.

The ramps that would most likely do the job as safe as possible would be the longer/three or two piece ramp systems. Below you will find links to the three more popular heavy duty setups.

Option 1) The New Big Boy II Folding Motorcycle Ramp System
Option 2) The Big Boy Folding Motorcycle Ramp System (slightly different than above)
Option 3) The Heavy Duty Motorcycle Ramp System (Higher on price but this is one of the kings of all motorcycle/atv ramps.)

As for the truck choice, we have ramps to allow loading into almost any truck. The truck selection will really be up to your needs as far as what else you will be using it for. I agree with what was stated previously in that a longer bed will in most cases allow you to close the tailgate after loading which is always great. If you are thinking of getting a shorter bed keep that in mind and depending on the size of the shorter bed you could always get the bed extender which would help keep items contained.

Anyway, once you have decided on a truck you can also determine the length of ramp needed to load your bike by using our ramp length calculator.

To discuss this in more details along with the pricing feel free to give Bob K a call at: 888-651-3431 Extension: 7507

so happy with the ramp, MY WIFE CAN DRIVE the truck without a trailer. we take turns driving and i can fall asleep when she drives!!!

the secret to a ramp is park on level ground, or Park the truck facing DOWN HILL. if the back of the ramp is higher it makes it easier to get on/off. RAMP = Less steep, better!

Is Bob K still the contact at discount ramps? I'm looking to purchase some ramps as well, and would like to pick up to save on shipping.
