I have two you can have for free. They have only one winter on them so they aren't new, but they are priced accordingly

Placing winter tires only on the front of a front wheel drive vehicle is a recipe for disaster.....

most winter tires only have the aggressive siping (grooves cut into tread block) and rubber compound that makes winter tires so amazing down to about 3 to 4/32" tread. After that its just another all season tire. Some dont even make it past one winter.

car guy is right. Putting two winter tires on only two wheels is a pattern to make the car spin and drift cause front will bite harder than rear and around it will come under turns & braking

you can tell by looking at this image. most of the sipes arent cut full depth and are frankly very shallow

depending on driving and miles you put on, expect 2 seasons max like said already. Otherwise order from Tire Rack, Late Model Throttle or Big Bear very soon before supply is all gone!

Why do you need a z rating? Are you going to go 145+ in the snow?

Yea put them on all 4. Braking and direction changing are important too.

Not to mention doing just the fronts would make for an oversteering monster which sounds fun but is more unnerving than anything when you are actually trying to stop quickly.
