    Dishwasher problems?

We have a GE dishwasher and after each load it still has 1-2" of water sitting in the bottom after it rinses and drains. I pulled it out, disconnected the drain line, checked to make sure everything was clear, etc. I also ran the dishwasher on the rinse cycle with the drain hose into the sink, everything seems to be pumping just fine, so why would there still be water sitting in the bottom of the tub after the cycle is complete?

Maybe you still have a small clog, but it's somewhere past the drain line?

Does your model have a check valve? Are you saying it drains all the way when you drain to the sink or do you still have standing water?
