    Bow season

Well deer season is right around the corner. Anyone going out to practice shots with the bow. If anyone wants to go to one of the local parks with a archery area let me know.

I'm counting down the days! Cameras have been out for a month now and we have a couple small bucks and 2 big boys so far. A velvet mounter is always worth the bugs!!

I almost don't want to bother going out till the first hard frost with the way the skeeters have been

I hunt on the edge of a swamp, so I can only image how bad the mosquitoes will be. I don’t think I will go out until after we’ve had a good cold snap. It will be tough to beat last year. I got an 8 pt buck 45 minutes into my first day of hunting.

Go get a Thermacell and hunt away. The bugs won't bother you and the deer don't ever seem to mind the slight scent it gives off.

I am going to Buck Rub to shoot tomorrow after work. ( I have to use up a free pass and they owe me a free paper tune)

I hunt in a doe only area this year so I REALLY hope I can get a nice buck early so I can go west for doe(s).
