I have had a set of these for about 14 years now. They fucking rock. They were demoted to garage stereo duty when the home theater went in. Fantastic at overpowering the neighbor's carnival music.

I have them running on an old a$$ denon receiver that puts out about 50watts per channel, so im sure you have enough power. The sound bada$$ with that, ive heard them with much much more power, they handle alot.

I had a pair of those when they were still called American Acoustics Labs. Not too bad for the money.

I had the single 12 version of these way back when. MTX made a great product in those days. These have to just pound with the dual 12s. But don't rule out the highs also!!! These are great speakers! Good luck with your sale!

With a pre-amp they will shake your house. My test movie is always days of thunder when cruise first gets in the car and says "im droppin the hammer" I crank that up when someone wants to hear the speakers and everyone is like wow thats loud.
