    reputable plumber

    My sister has some plumbing that needs replacement under the kitchen sink. Flat Rate quoted $1,200 for everything. Anyone have any history on them or know their reputation?

    You should be able to replace everything under the sink for $50 in parts at your local hardware store.

    That is insane. I replaced all the pipes under my sink for about $75.

    What are they all doing?

    Even with chrome plated metal drain parts and all brass water lines I couldn't see it being anywhere near that much.

    Not sure exactly sure what was done. There was an apparent leak where the pipes went from under the sink down to the basement and was not up to code.
